Clinical Fellow in Haematology - ST3 or above

Job summary

Applications are being welcomed to offer the opportunity for a Clinical Fellow to join the Clinical Haematology team.

The post holder will have responsibility for delivering care to patients within the Clinical Haematology service based at Bradford Royal Infirmary. This will include inpatient and outpatient based services. Inpatient work will include review of patients with haematological illness on different wards. The outpatient responsibility includes participation in clinical haematology Clinics. There is an on call rota of 1:6.

We are seeking to employ to this post commencing from July 2025 on a fixed term basis.

Candidates must be fully registered with the General Medical Council, hold a license to practice by the intended start date and hold MRCP qualification.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the post are the day to day management of patients, wards, and out-patients. They will have the opportunity to develop specialty skills. They will be expected to manage patients in general haematology clinics under consultant supervision and have the opportunity to attend specialist clinics such as Lymphoma. Registrars are expected to develop in-depth practice within the expectations of their skills level.
