Brief Description of the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated paediatric research nurse to join our dynamic research nursing team. We are looking for a motivated individual who is willing to learn and develop their skills in clinical research. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with an interest in clinical research and delivering clinical research in paediatrics and neonates, who can provide excellent clinical care to children of all ages and their families participating in research studies.

This post is being advertised as part time, 15 hours p/w and is being offered as a secondment or fixed term contract for 1 year.

Main duties of the job

The role will involve assessing and managing care pathways for participants in research: including, recruitment, education and monitoring of research subjects, providing support for research participants and their families and the accurate collection and documentation of data. You will work collaboratively with colleagues in the research team and the wider multidisciplinary team, to support existing clinical trials and studies. You will also require a working knowledge and compliance with local, national and international research regulations including Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
