We are seeking a highly motivated, committed and experienced Personal Assistant to provide a comprehensive service to the Senior Leadership Team in Women's Services. The jobholder will be one of two Personal Assistants (PA's) responsible for the effective provision of a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to the team, which includes the General Manager, Director of Midwifery, Head of Midwifery and the Women's Services Clinical Director. You will carry out all secretarial duties as required; organise your own workload and work on your initiative.

- Previous significant secretarial experience
- Experience in developing and implementing administrative systems, processes and procedures
- Experience of dealing with people at all levels in a variety of situations, some of which could be sensitive, distressing or emotional
- Experience to prioritise and manage a diverse workload

- Minute taking and transcribing skills
- Skills commensurate with those expected at RSA III/OCRApplication formE
- Audio Typing
- Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing at a high level
Knowledge

- Understanding of Information Governance and Confidentiality
- Microsoft office packages including Excel and Power-point, internet, email etc

- Knowledge of Patient administration system or equivalent
- Medical terminology
