An exciting opportunity has arisen join the Medical Staffing team. The job holder will be responsible for the management of all Consultant and junior medical staff on-call rotas within Emergency Medicine also including looking after medical staff on-call rotas within the Medical Speciality and all other activities associated with this task, ensuring efficient and effective rota changes and organisation, often at short notice.
Main duties of the job
The job holder will be responsible for the management of all junior medical staff on-call rotas within the Medical Specialty and Emergency Medicine and all other activities associated with this task, ensuring efficient and effective rota changes and organisation, often at short notice. The job holder will be responsible for ensuring effective processes are in place for the production and distribution of the rota and the quality of the rota.

- The job holder will be responsible for the management and approval of junior and middle grade medical staffs annual leave, study leave and sickness leave and will maintain an effective database to monitor leave and absence.
- The job holder will manage junior medical staff leave allocation, and maintain a system throughout the medical directorates for the recording of junior and middle grade medical staff annual leave, study leave and sick leave. They will work closely with the medical education department to ensure training records accurately reflect annual leave, study leave and sickness taken and pass the information required to their next rotation.
