An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Education Service as part of the Postgraduate Medical Education team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The post holder will be working as part of a small team supporting a range of work streams such as the GP Training Scheme, Foundation Training, Resident Doctors Inductions, Locally Employed Doctors, Specialist Associates as well as all other postgraduate Education elements. The post-holder will also work flexibly as a member of the wider Professional Education team to support all areas of the service, and this will include some Reception cover as part of a departmental rota.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide a high level of administrative functions, whilst being an effective communicator with a range of education and medical staff. Attention to detail will be crucial, as well as the ability to focus and prioritise within a busy and fast paced role with tight deadlines. Planning and organisational skills will be one of your strengths, including the ability to remain calm under pressure. You will be facilitating and coordinating training events (not delivering) and will need to be confident in problem solving and speaking publicly to a range of audiences in a professional, welcoming, and friendly way.

The Education department operates within Field House at Bradford Royal Infirmary. The role is office-based due to resident doctor interface and activity, as well as the need to support course delivery.
