We are looking for motivated, hardworking, caring, and compassionate individuals, looking to start a rewarding career as a Renal Support Worker at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The role of a Renal Support Worker is varied, both equally challenging and rewarding, you will be at the forefront of providing direct patient care. Assisting patients alongside the implementation of programs of care under the direction of a Registered Nurse as part of this role. Whilst also supporting Registered Nurse, Nursing Associates, and the wider multi-disciplinary teams in your department and across the wider Organisation.

You should be able to demonstrate a good verbal and written command of English, alongside excellent communication, and interpersonal skills as you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the patients' healthcare experiences by contributing to the on-going support of the patients and their relative/visitors.

Main duties of the job

Full time hours = 37.5 Hrs

Part time hours = 23.5 Hrs to 30 Hrs.

The Minimum required hours for this role are = 23.5 Hrs.

Please also be aware that if you are successfully appointed to the role following shortlisting and an interview, you will be required to attend the Healthcare Support Worker Bootcamp in your first two weeks of joining Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The Bootcamp takes place over 2 weeks and is Monday to Friday 8:00 until 16:30pm every day. After completing the bootcamp you will join the multi-disciplinary team in your allocated Ward / Department.
