We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual to join our End User Computing Team.
Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to recruit an IT Infrastructure Technician to the End User Computing (EUC) Team. The EUC Team is responsible for the Windows desktop and laptop platform, the Trusts email environment along with many other IT systems.
The successful applicants will join a busy IT Infrastructure team, which provide 3rd line IT support to the Trusts 7000+ users. You will be responsible for monitoring and resolving incidents assigned to the 3rd line support queue. You will also be required to undertake with project work, this will involve upgrading and deploying IT systems.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be responsible for the provision of 3rd tier IT support and maintenance for all Trust departments within the IT Infrastructure discipline (Networks, End User Computing or Data Centre) to which they are assigned. This will also involve updating and managing incidents within the IT Service Desk ticketing system. The post holder will also be responsible for investigating reported faults, maintaining communications and liaising with users to effect appropriate repairs and achieving a satisfactory conclusion to faults within designated timescales and quality of service standards. The post holder is also required to analyse IT problems and design, test, document and implement appropriate solutions.
