Main duties of the job
We are seeking an experienced Senior Emergency Nurse who is innovative, enthusiastic and self-motivated, with proven facilitation and effective leadership qualities within Emergency Nursing to lead and develop our new education team where learning, improvement and excellence will continue to thrive to another level amongst our forever hardworking team.
As our Practice Educator Lead Nurse, you and your team will support the Matron in delivering training and education across our large team of over 100 nurses, health care support workers, students and progressing health care professionals. You will coach, supervise and support the nursing clinical team both at the point of care and theoretically, whereby you will be not only lead and co-ordinate all learning but will actively participate in delivering an exceptionally high standard of nurse education to our nursing and wider workforce. We recognise that education and effective leadership positively influence the quality of patient care therefore working in collaboration with colleagues, you will lead to develop and implement a brand defining, innovative, bespoke Emergency Nursing Education Strategy aligned to departmental, organisational, regulatory and governance requirements.
