Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious and dynamic finance professional to join the Financial Management Team. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the provision of effective, high quality financial information for the Clinical Service Units, undertaking complex financial analyses and investigating complex queries.
It is expected that the successful candidate will be almost or recently qualified along with demonstrable relevant experience in a related field of expertise. Participation in continuing professional development will be expected.
The role offers significant opportunities for personal development as many aspects of the job involve building relationships and developing a deep understanding of the business of a range of complex hospital services. The department also aims to develop individuals through active involvement in Future Focused Finance and HFMA programmes.
Since the start of the pandemic the department has operated a popular hybrid working system with staff working flexibly both from home and, less frequently, in the office when necessary.
