The Financial Management Department is seeking to recruit a Finance Assistant, to assist the Assistant Finance Manager in the general day to day duties of providing financial support to the Trust's budget holders. The successful candidate will work within a flexible and pro-active team of staff, whose role primarily consists of producing accurate, timely and appropriate financial information, whilst maintaining the Trust's budgetary control and associated systems.

We can offer staff gymnasiums on both hospital sites, excellent pension scheme and advice on childcare.

Main duties of the job

This job description covers a distinct post within the Financial Management department.

Jobholders may be considered to work towards a CCAB (Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies) professional accountancy qualification such as CIMA, ACCA and CIPFA.

The main purpose of this post is to support the Finance Manager and Assistant Finance Manager in the provision of timely and accurate financial information and advice
