Job summary
The role of the Theatre Central Store Person is an integral part of the Theatre team in ensuring that stores areas are maintained and controlled. You will be responsible for maintaining stock levels, ordering and receipt of stock into the store and distribution of stores and the Theatre areas.
You will also be responsible for ensuring the safe storage of all consumables as well as being responsible for the ordering of consumables and equipment as directed by Team Leaders and Theatre Co-ordinator. You will ensure that appropriate stock levels are maintained and communicate any discrepancies with the Theatre Coordinator. You will be expected to liaise with the Trust Materials Management Team to ensure a seamless service.
Previous experience of working in a store or using and accessing equipment or other store in a previous role is essential for this role.
There is the potential for job share in this role, there are 50 hours to cover in a week so flexible working/part time hours would be considered.
