Job summary

Post Title: Trainee Nursing Associate

Grade: Band 3 (On completion of the apprenticeship Band 4)

Department: TBC

Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours)

What Qualifications do you need:

MATHS- GRADE C or equivalent/ Grade 4 or above

English- GRADE C or equivalent/ Grade 4 or above

NVQ Level 2 In Health and Social Care

Care Certificate

If you are currently an Apprentice Healthcare Assistant, please confirm that you will have completed your apprenticeship in full by 31st May 2024 and have completed your end point assessment.

This opportunity is currently being offered as a two-year apprenticeship.

The course will start in September 2024 with Bolton University.

This is a training role, leading to a Band 4 Nursing Associate position, on successful completion of the programme. Please see attached Job Description and Person Spec for further details.

We are seeking individuals with significant experience of working within health care delivery. There are opportunities available in this post for candidates applying to work at Bradford Teaching Hospitals. Nursing Associates work in many different health care settings including hospitals, care homes, community, learning disabilities & general practice environments.

This exciting opportunity will enable you to be part of a 2-year work-based learning program, delivered in conjunction with the University of Bolton to achieve a foundation degree and become a qualified Registered Nursing Associate.

This opportunity is currently being offered as a two-year apprenticeship.
