An opportunity has arisen for experienced and motivated senior administrator to provide administrative support within the Unplanned Care Group.
The role will involve working closely with the Haematology consultants & CNS teams, management, secretarial team, nursing and medical colleagues. Providing a comprehensive administration support service the post holder will be responsible for ensuring all malignant appointments are booked accordingly, validating and maintaining the RTT data quality of the outpatient waiting lists, escalating accordingly. You will attend MDT meetings, take notes and action as instructed and rescheduling of clinics.
Main duties of the job
You will use your RTT knowledge and experience to support the admin processes of validation. This will include receiving and saving validation files from System Development.

- To interpret clinic letters to determine RTT codes.
- Good interpersonal Skills.
- Literacy and Numeracy.
- Proven Organisational Skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative whilst under pressure, including working to tight deadlines and prioritising work effectively.
- Able to deal with sensitive/confidential issues on a daily basis.
- Attention to detail.
- Good knowledge and understanding of all Access Targets in particular the rules of RTT.
- Knowledge of EPR.
- Ability to travel to Bradford Royal Infirmary or Eccleshill sites.
