Job summary

An exciting opportunity has become available within Digestive Diseases and Surgery division, providing administrative and data quality support to our General Surgery team.

The job holder will be responsible for the provision of a range of administrative duties related to patient pathway management, including, but not limited to, validation of Patient Tracking files, clinic outcome and cash up, ensuring patients waiting times are validated and accurately reflected within the Trustwide 18-week guidance. This will involve identifying data quality errors within the patient pathway through the use of EPR, PPM and Evolve.

You will act as a support for our General Surgery admin team. The post will also include typing clinical letters, and general support and cover of our secretarial service as and when needed.

You should be literate and numerate, with excellent organisational, time management and IT skills and an ability to work without supervision.

You will have a high standard of communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff at all levels.

Knowledge of the EPR System is essential
