Job summary

To manage, maintain and operate accurate and up-to-date asset based information systems covering all of the Trust's properties including filed ACAD/Revit drawings, and project specific operation and maintenance manuals. This involves maintaining a comprehensive electronic filing system of all Health and Safety files and operation and maintenance manuals from all projects. To work closely with other Estates Professionals (including the Trust Fire Safety Manager, Trust Asbestos Manager & external professional advisers), to ensure that the post holder can accurately maintain and update all construction records.

Essential

  • Experienced AutoCAD user with a proven ability to interrogate construction & engineering drawings, symbols & convections
  • Experience of undertaking measured/space utilisation surveys
  • Experience of working in an NHS environment

Desirable

  • Experienced MiCAD user with extensive knowledge of software capabilities including the Internet Property Manager (IPR), Asbestos Module
  • Familiar with & ability to operate other computer-based Information Systems, e.g. Revit
  • Knowledge of BIM products and benefits associated with BIM

Skills

Essential

  • Proficient User of Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project

Knowledge

Essential

  • Must have an awareness of Building Information Modelling (BIM), and understanding AutoCAD/Revit software packages, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, internet and other web-based software and products
  • Understanding of Information Governance and Confidentiality

  • Committed to CPD and prepared to undertake any training
