Job summary
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic Health Care Assistant to join Ward 33 / 24. The Haematology / Oncology wards are based at the Bradford Royal Infirmary NHS Trust within the division of unplanned care.
Both wards are 12 bedded, accommodating Oncology / Haematology patients who are admitted onto the wards for diagnostic investigations, various systemic anti-cancer treatments, and acute complications and for palliative care support. The wards work closely with the acute oncology service and the Haematology / Oncology day unit. We are a strong nursing team in an exciting specialized areas, the team is enthusiastic, innovated, well-motivated and dedicated to deliver high standards of care.
Main duties of the job
Brief Description of the Role:
The post holder will be responsible for direct care, under the supervision of a registered nurse. Health care assistant experience within the hospital setting is desirable, experience as a health care assistant within health is essential.
