An exciting new opportunity has arisen at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, for an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic and professional finance team as a Trainee Finance Assistant. Main duties of the job
You will join a supportive team and receive full training on all aspects of the role. As part of providing an excellent financial management service to the organisation the successful candidate will work with the assistant finance manager in supporting our operational services, providing comprehensive financial management support and advice to the Trust. Essential skills for the role are therefore in the areas of financial management, customer service, IT, and communication. The successful candidate must be actively planning to study towards AAT or a professional Accountancy (CCAB) Qualification.
At the interview you will need to demonstrate excellent technical knowledge, interpersonal and organisational skills and possess a strong willingness to learn. You will need to be a team player with initiative, have a positive attitude and be able to manage your workload to meet the demands of our operational services. Training will be provided on the finance systems used.
