Main duties of the job

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our transformation, improvement & strategy portfolio, in the delivery of complex work programmes across the Bradford District and Craven and wider across West Yorkshire. Our new Director of Strategy & Transformation will play a vital role in making significant impact in delivering high quality and innovative health and care for our population. This is a key strategic position on our Unitary Board. You will be accountable for setting out our strategic roadmap, leading on strategic development and the transformation of our services to meet the health and care needs of our diverse population.

  • Proven extensive experience in a senior leadership position in a large complex organisation
  • Previous experience and evidence of successful strategy development, communications and engagement at Board level
  • Broad director level experience covering different portfolios to include planning in a healthcare or care organisation
  • Evidence of driving improvement in services and 'customer' care/experience in a complex environment
  • Track record operating and influencing at Board level
  • Experience of successfully operating in and delivering in a partnership environment and across organisational boundaries
  • Experience of successfully driving change and transformational change across organisational boundaries
  • Experience of providing outcome focussed leadership, mentorship and professional development at a very senior level.
