BTHFT is offering an exciting opportunity to join the Human Resources Operations Team. As part of the Trust's commitment to flexible working, there will be some opportunity to work from home and in the office on a rota basis.
Main duties of the job
The HR team is instrumental in embedding the NHS People Plan, and the Trust's own values - We care; We value people; We are one team striving for excellence - in all that we do. Your role is integral in supporting the HR Business Partnering Team to provide a proactive and professional HR service to the Trust's Clinical Service Units and Corporate Functions. The role will be aligned within a dedicated workstream supporting an HR Business Partner and HR Manager, you will work closely with managers and staff across the Trust, supporting them with the provision of professional advice and guidance to ensure that HR policies, procedures and best practice are applied across the full range of employee relations casework.

You will be degree educated (or equivalent) and have a professional qualification C.I.P.D or be part qualified, working towards (Level 5 or above) and have a drive to contribute to the Trust's Mission to "provide the highest quality healthcare at all times". Recent experience of working in an HR Department in a large complex organisation, supporting managers in a range of Employee Relations matters and a proven ability to interpret and apply the law in relation to terms and conditions of employment and HR Policy are essential requirements.
