An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Clinical Informatics team who are responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient use of digital tools. The role will ensure high adoption of new initiatives and technologies and support front line staff in delivering this. This role will involve the application of clinical knowledge and skills, along with a variety of clinical engagement techniques to work with staff in clinical areas to determine if a change to practice, tools, operational processes or skill set is required to deliver an improvement to patient care.

Main duties of the job
This role will involve the application of clinical knowledge to assess the adequacy of current 'systems' in clinical areas, meaning are the tools, associated processes, and skill set working together for effective patient care. The role will determine if a change to practice, tools, operational processes or skill set is required to deliver an improvement.
The role will also ensure that benefit metrics are built into any change programme to ensure that all improvements are measurable and reportable.
The jobholder will use a variety of clinical engagement techniques to support and deliver change.
The role will be embedded within an existing team of change staff who support the on-going adoption, use and challenge of our informatics solutions.
