Hours: 37 1/2 hours per week - 5 days per week + on call duties
Brief Description of the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Estates Department at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for a committed Estates professional who has the knowledge and experience to oversee the delivery of all Estates related compliance. The successful candidate will be expected to review continually, the Hard FM services and demonstrate the drive and determination to introduce change where necessary to improve the quality and efficiency of the services for the benefit of our patients and staff.
Main duties of the job
The candidate shall have extensive leadership experience of managing infrastructure and fabric in an acute hospital environment, with detailed knowledge of Statutory and Mandatory compliance.
Candidates should have relevant experience in managing both directly employed trades staff and external contractors.
It is anticipated that the post holder will hold the following qualifications and skills:
Professional / academic qualification at Degree level or equivalent in a related field, plus specialist knowledge across the range of Estates 'best practice' and standards, regulations and compliance acquired through post-graduate experience and further training, which is level 7 masters equivalent level.
