Tracheostomy Lead Nurse / Tracheostomy Lead Allied Health Professional
We have an exciting opportunity for two registered health care professionals to join the Trust into our newly formed Tracheostomy Lead posts. We have 2 x 0.5wte Band 7 posts available and we are looking for one Registered Nurse and one Allied Health Professional with experience of clinical input into patients with tracheostomies and laryngectomies.

Main duties of the job
You will work alongside clinical experts to co-ordinate the management of adult patients with tracheostomies at BTHFT. You will provide leadership to enable the Trust to provide safe and effective care by supporting appropriate training and education, ensuring national guidance is adhered to, overseeing quality governance, clinical audit, quality improvement, and encouraging MDT collaboration.
This will be a Monday to Friday service and the post holders will need to factor in some time during the week to hand over to each other to ensure continuity of the service. Working hours can be negotiated and flexed to meet the needs of the individuals and the service.
