Job summary

We require an innovative, motivated, experienced Registered Nurse who is keen to work in a challenging specialised learning environment working as part of Oncology Research within the Trust.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will work within a small supportive team and develop close working relationships with the Research Networks assisting in the attainment of national targets in the recruitment of patients into clinical trials. Mentorship and specialist training will be provided. The post holder will co ordinate a portfolio of local, national and international trials, by interviewing, recruiting and supervising treatment for those patients who choose to participate in the trials and supporting collection of trial data within outpatient and in patient setting. They will develop links with other directorates with in the Trust and also with the other local Trusts.

IT skills are essential.
