The Business Intelligence (BI) and Quality teams play a vital role, ensuring complex information from a wide range of clinical and administrative systems is available to users at all levels of the organisation, driving improved decision making about patient care.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Principal BI Analyst to join the Business Intelligence (BI) and Quality teams at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated candidates with information / analytical experience of to join our dynamic, Trust wide service.

The Principal BI Analysts will undertake a specialist role in driving the provision of high quality, timely and accurate information, providing appropriate analysis to assist service areas in delivering high quality, safe, patient focused services. They will provide specialist advice to Trust stakeholders from ward to Board, based on their expert knowledge and technical skills.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a forward thinking information professional to help shape the future of our self-service, real time intelligence strategy. We are looking for enthusiasm, creativity and initiative, to continually innovate and develop improvements to the reporting systems and processes that we operate. Working with staff in the BI team and wider Informatics department, you will support the flow of information throughout the organisation to improve insight into activity, performance and quality of care. The Quality post holder will provide mentorship to the Quality team in terms of developing their skill set to make sense of data. They will support the Associate Director for Quality, Head of QI and Clinical Outcomes and the Senior Quality Governance Lead to implement longer-term, more strategic improvements.

This will require working with staff at a range of levels within the organisation such as; information staff, clinical colleagues, service users and leads, other relevant stakeholders including heads of services/directors.
