Job summary
The Head of Business Partnering (HoBP) will play a crucial role in developing the financial management and business partnering functions, supporting the Director of Operational Finance and the Chief Finance Officer to address some of the key strategic and operational questions including the Care Group financial planning & recovery, sustainability and transformation.
You will be required to have an office presence although some hybrid working is feasible.
Main duties of the job
The Head of Business Partnering will support TSDFT in delivering a world-class finance function and provide leadership and direction to improve the financial performance of the Trust.
The post holder will take forward the development of Business Financial Partnering with the Trust and scope service changes proposed into Medium Term Financial Plan (MTFP), forecasts and scenario planning, identify opportunities and links the front line of health and social care with the finance function.
The role will ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting internally to the various Boards and externally to system-wide governance bodies.
The post holder will manage and lead key financial reporting and budget setting process and work closely with the Head of Financial Services and Head of Financial Strategy in relation to operational planning
The post holder is responsible within the Trust to the Director of Operational Finance, the Chief Finance Officer, Board Members, Finance Committee, Divisional Managers and Clinicians. External responsibilities include the reporting of financial information and liaising with the ICB, NHS England, Internal and External Auditors.
You will have responsibility for the line management and development of the Business Partnering function.
