Child and Family Health Devon

Child and Family Health Devon (CFHD) have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Administrator to join our friendly team. Although your main base will be at Honeylands Child Development Centre, there may be the need to work from another site in Exeter for part of the week.

The Senior Administrator will be part of a wider Business Support function.

You will have a key role in providing secretarial, administrative and organisational support across the full range of office and service activities, including the smooth running of the office, reception and front of house duties and secretarial/administrative support to a range of frontline clinicians & managers.

This is a permanent position working 22.5 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

Main duties include:

  • providing excellent customer service by responding to incoming telephone queries in a timely and accurate way
  • general administrative tasks
  • use of electronic systems
  • preparation of electronic and paper files
  • assisting with reporting and compilation of data
  • producing letters and reports
  • processing of incoming correspondence
  • Support to Consultant Psychiatrists
  • Diary management

  • Computer Literate
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Willing to undertake training relevant to the post

  • Good knowledge of a wide range of office procedures

Experience

  • Clerical, administrative or reception experience (minimum 1 year).

Desirable
