Job summary

We are seeking an organized and proactive Helpdesk Coordinator to join our team for a 6-month fixed-term contract. As a Helpdesk Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of incoming service requests. These requests will cover a range of services, including portering, linen, and specialized cleaning. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the timely allocation and resolution of service requests, ensuring high standards of care and service delivery within the hospital.

Main duties of the job

o Coordinate Incoming Requests: Manage and log all incoming requests for portering, linen, and specialized cleaning services via the helpdesk system.

o Prioritize Requests: Assess the urgency of requests and prioritize them based on the requirements of the hospital and its departments.

o Allocate Tasks: Liaise with relevant teams and ensure service requests are assigned to the appropriate personnel or department promptly.

o Monitor Progress: Track the progress of all ongoing requests and ensure timely completion in accordance with established service standards.

o Customer Service: Communicate with internal stakeholders to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of satisfaction.

o Record Management: Maintain accurate records of requests, tasks, and completion times, ensuring all data is logged in the helpdesk system.

o Problem-Solving: Address any issues or delays, working proactively with internal teams to resolve challenges efficiently.
