We have an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated and motivated team.
Torbay Recovery Initiatives is the community Drug and Alcohol Service in Torbay. We are delivering a range of evidence-based recovery focused interventions to support individuals with drug and alcohol use problems.
We require an individual who is committed to providing high standards of service provision and who can work in partnership with service users, families and carers and the wider recovery community in Torbay.
Main duties of the job
Undertake initial assessment of individuals referred into the service.
Provide a range of evidence-based interventions to individuals assessed as appropriate for treatment from the service
Contribute to the coordination of recovery focused interventions to individuals
Work closely with partner agencies including statutory and non-statutory services to ensure effective delivery and coordination of services.
Monitoring of prescribing interventions which form a component of the individuals recovery journey
Undertake specific interventions to support individuals to address alcohol use problems
To provide a range of evidence-based treatment to individuals with physical and psychological dependency upon illicit drugs or alcohol
