Job summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Medicine and Long-Term Conditions service as a Personal Assistant. In this role, you will provide managerial and administrative support to the Associate Director of Nursing & Professional Practice (ADNPP).

As a personal assistant to the ADNPP, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of support services. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and ability to work independently, effectively manage their own workload, and promptly address the needs as they arise. Additionally, candidates should hold a NVQ in Administration (or equivalent experience) and have achieved GCSE's in Maths and English with a Grade C or above.

Main duties of the job

The ADNPP is accountable to the Chief Nursing Officer and plays a crucial role in providing professional leadership to the Trust's core services and are responsible for ensuring that national and local standards are met. Additionally, the ADNPP collaborates closely with System Directors to ensure oversight of Quality and Safety, Performance, and Finance within their respective areas of control.

To effectively carry out their responsibilities, the ADNPP works closely with System Director PAs, as well as operational and clinical teams within each ISU.

You will:

  • provide a professional secretarial and administrative service to enable the ADNPP Professionals and their teams to work efficiently, and assisting with the management of their time and workload.
  • act as the first point of contact for the ADNPP and deal with queries and messages confidently and sensitively, taking appropriate actions and ensuring confidentially at all times
  • Support development of new ways of working that deliver Trust objective

  • Audio typing skills
