Job summary

You will provide on-going advice and support to enable patients to make informed decisions about their management and care. There will be an expectation to contribute to the implementation of the Personalised Care Agenda which will involve reviewing and leading on follow up and Health and Wellbeing interventions.

You will provide a specialist service to a caseload of patients with skin cancer and their families from the point of diagnosis onwards, including treatment toxicity review and symptom control.

Part time, permanent, development role at Band 5 may be considered.

  • Educated to Degree level
  • Post Registration experience
  • Ability to demonstrate flexible working patterns and be able to respond to the needs of the service

  • Teaching qualification
  • Psychological support training at level 2
