Main duties of the job

As a Secretarial Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Administrative Support: Efficiently manage administrative tasks, including, record keeping, and handling phone and email communications.

  • Medical Transcription: Accurately transcribe medical notes and documents, ensuring they are complete and up to date.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the medical team, including consultants and nurses, to facilitate the smooth operation of the department.

  • Data Management: Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.

  • Organisational Skills: Manage multiple tasks and prioritise work to meet deadlines and ensure the department's efficient operation.
