Job summary
- To act as the clinical governance administrator, providing clerical and administrative support for clinical governance activities within the surgical service.
- Deal with routine matters relating to the risk and governance function, ensuring urgent work is brought to the attention of clinical governance co-ordinators as appropriate.

The surgical patient safety team are a forward thinking, cohesive team of 3 people who need the support of an additional team member.
We work very closely with our medical, matron and operational manager colleagues to support the Trust patient safety agenda.
The team are currently in the midst of some very exciting changes to the patient safety culture at the Trust, including implementing the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) and a new incident reporting system (DCIQ) to bring us in line with the Learning From Patient Safety Events (LFPSE) framework.
