Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity in our Education Department.
The role will include working within the Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) Education Team, facilitating induction, workplace support & assessment of our HCSW workforce .
The post holder will need to have excellent proven clinical and communication skills and the ability to support and nurture others in their development.
You will facilitate face to face teaching within the classroom, and also within clinical workplaces . You will need to develop and maintain relationships , and be comfortable with providing effective feedback to aid in the development of others.
Main duties of the job
As part of the clinical skill team the post holder will be:
- An influential role in shaping and delivering the training and education of new Healthcare Support Workers (HCSW) joining the Organisation and new to the care setting.
- Establishing, promoting and facilitating closer relationships between the Integrated Service Units (ISU), Education and Recruitment with the support of newly appoint HCAs/ SWICs new to the care setting.
- Be a part of the delivery and development of role specific clinical skills
