Job summary
We are looking for a Learning Technologist to join the Education Directorate. You will work within the Digital Team and be responsible for designing, producing and implementing digital training solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to produce the digital assets used within the training material including, graphics, animations, videos and interactive media.
You will have experience contributing to the design of engaging and effective training solutions. You will keep abreast of developments in technology enhanced learning and provide expert advice to the Education Directorate on how TEL can be used to continually evolve the service. Main duties of the job
- Produce the digital assets used within the training material including, graphics, animations, videos and interactive media
- Works alongside Digital Education Lead & digital content teams, with autonomy to work on and complete projects to deadlines that have clear milestones.
- Responsible for delivering projects to agreed timescales and supporting other digital education projects where required
- Design, produce, test and deliver effective digital training material using rapid authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate)
- Facilitate staff access to expertise, services and resources related to technology supported learning
- Provides pedagogic advice, guidance, encouragement and support on the use of technology to staff involved in teaching
