As a Deputy Medical Director for the Trust, we are seeking individuals who are able to providevisible, dynamic and effective senior clinical leadership, direction and oversightin the whole system of care spanning primary, community and secondary care.
As an Integrated Care Organisation, we are keen to ensure our medical leadership team represents opinion from colleagues with a primary care background. Working in partnership with our local GP Practices we are able to offer an innovative opportunity for Primary Care Colleagues to retain a GP role should they wish.
You will be an integral part of our Building a Better Future programme. Following the success of being given a share of the £3.7 billion government funding, we are undertaking a fundamental review of the ways we deliver services with, to and for our people, including a rebuilding our general hospital.
You will be an experienced, strategic clinical leader who will inform and shape leadership strategies support the communication and consultation in such strategies, share corporate responsibility for the achievement of the Trust's corporate objectives and for driving forward a culture of change, innovation, development and modernisation.You must be able to work flexibly and effectively, to manage change and to support others to deliver measurable results
Main duties of the job
The Deputy position is for 5 sessions per week (5PA's).

About us
The Deputy Medical Directors will work closely with each other and with the Directors of Operations and Deputy Chief Nurses and Deputy Chief for Allied Health. The DMDs will also work closely with members of the executive team. The post holder will need to develop robust internalnetworks with clinical and professional colleagues throughout the Trust.
