Job summary
To assist in the development the Networks Team to ensure the provision of a high quality Network service to the healthcare community, within existing budgets.
Acts as technical reference point for the Network infrastructure and include responsibility for all upgrades, new installations and implementations to meet the requirements of the Health Informatics Service (HIS).
Key Duties-
- To assist the Network Manager / Deputy Network Manager with technical matters relating to voice and data communications.
- To be solely responsible for resources allocated to specific projects.
- Technical Leadership to the Communications Specialists
Main duties of the job
- Responsible for the voice and data networks for the South Devon Health Community, where the HIS has responsibility for providing these services
- Providing solutions to complex networking technical problems.
- Motivating and Technical Leadership to Junior members of the Team in a fast moving/changing
- Communication of highly complex information.
