Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for full-time ST1-2 doctor with previous NHS experience to join University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust and provide medical care at Weston General Hospital.
We have a Clinical Fellow vacancy which would be suitable for ST1-2 level doctors with at least 6-month NHS experience who are interested in exploring general medicine. This role is fixed term for 24 months.
Working hours will be between 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday whilst ward based. This post also has a full on-call rota commitment including long days, nights and weekends, with a designated Consultant Supervisor and day to day supervision from the on-call SPR and Consultant.

Main duties of the job
Currently active areas of specialist interest include Simulation, Quality Improvement, Wellbeing, Research and working with our award winning geriatric emergency medicine team. We would, however, be happy to consider any other suggestions from suitable candidates as long as they are justifiable from the perspective of contributing to the wider field of medicine. The number of 80:20 posts is strictly limited and will be offered based on performance at interview. All candidates offered whether a full time or 80:20 post will be able to indicate their specialty area of preference. All doctors will have an educational supervisor and study budget and be supported to develop their portfolio.
