Main duties of the job
Evidence of continued professional development is essential. Experience in Cardiac dietetics is not essential and we would consider a candidate with the ambition to develop themselves and learn on the job if you have all the other relevant experience and skills. You must have strong leadership, excellent communication and good time management skills, alongside a passion to drive forward research, with compassion to support the patients and their families. It is essential to be able to lead and manage junior dietetic team members working in cardiology, GI surgery, and burns and work collaboratively alongside the PICU/HDU Band 7 dietitian lead across the children's hospital and region. Dedication and commitment to the direction of travel for the department, hospital, trust, and region are essential.
