Job summary
The University Hospitals Bristol and Weston Perfusion department is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual willing to undertake our two year training program. During these two years you will be required to complete an MSc in Perfusion Science based in Bristol as well as perform 150 supervised cases to acquire the necessary clinical skills to undertake the Society of Clinical Perfusion Scientists practical exam.Applicantswill have a minimum of 2:1 grade in a relevant science degree in order to be eligible to apply and enrol on the course.
Candidates should reside in the UK at the time of application.
Main duties of the job
To train and qualify as a Clinical Perfusion Scientist who is capable of operating autonomously in the delivery of clinical and professional perfusion services within a multidisciplinary team.The two year training programme comprises theoretical and practical training throughout, concluding with academic and professional accreditation examinations.The trainee Clinical Perfusionist will develop the skills to be competent to provide the agreed quality standards.
