Paediatric Senior Staff Nurse - Oncology

We currently have rare opportunity a 2 full time positions & 1 part time position as Senior Staff Nurse, for 10 to 12 month fixed term contracts.

Starlight Wardis our paediatric oncology, haematology and bone marrow transplant ward. We are the principal treatment centre in the South West for haematology and oncology and an international referral centre for bone marrow transplant. We have 17 cubicles and predominately care for 0-12 year olds.

We are supported by two proactive charities, Bristol and Weston Hospitals Charity and The Grand Appeal. The Grand Appeal's Gromit Unleashed 2 Trail held in the south west which has raised substantial funds for clinical services. The city of Bristol is frequently voted a top destination in the UK and Europe to live and visit. Main duties of the job

The ideal candidate for the role will:

  • Be an experienced, committed, organised, dynamic, enthusiastic forward-thinking individual.

  • Have experience within a paediatric haematology oncology and/or bone marrow transplant clinical setting
