Job summary
A weekend clerical officer is required to support our services on Saturday and Sunday between 9am-5pm.
Are you interested in working as part of a team to provide a full clerical service to the x-ray department? This will involve receptioning patients-booking them onto the departmental computer system, filing and making appointments as well as acting as a clerical coordinator in our CT control room.
In the X-Ray Department it is how you go about your duties that matters to us. You should be enthusiastic, self motivated and have excellent communication skills to be able to work well with all levels of staff and members of the public. Full training will be given.
Main duties of the job
- To provide general administration support to the department of Clinical Imaging. This involves receptioning patients, entering details accurately on the Radiology Information System (CRIS). The role involves answering numerous telephone calls, booking appointments and acting as a co-ordinator in the CT department.
