The Continuous Improvement Team are seeking adynamic, flexible and self-motivated individual, with experience of delivering projects and/or service improvements that they are keen to build on and develop further.

As an Improvement Manager you will be supported to scope, manage, deliver, and evaluate a range ofclinical and non-clinicalimprovement projects. Alongside this, you will support staff with improvement ideas through facilitation, coaching and training.

Main duties of the job

  • Initially managing smaller scale, less complex improvement projects to develop your skills, building up to managing larger, and more complex projects increasingly independently
  • Designing and facilitating workshops and service improvement events
  • Coaching, mentoring, training, and supporting staff who are working on improvement projects
  • Building relationships with colleagues across the Trust

You are joining the Team at an exciting time. UHBW is implementing Patient First, a Lean-based approach to working with a large focus on continuous improvement. The Continuous Improvement Team are fundamental to this roll out, and supporting the organisation to build their improvement capability.
