Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for several fixed term receptionist to join the team at Unity Sexual Health to work at the following Community Clinics until 31 March 2025:

Cadbury Heath Monday 1545-1915

Lawrence Weston Tuesday 1500-1830

Concord Thursday 0945-1445 or 1445 - 1945

We are a free NHS service providing STI testing and treatment, contraception and pregnancy advice for Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. Unity Sexual Health is provided by University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with:

Main duties of the job

This post holder will work under the supervision of the Community Team Leader at Unity Sexual Health (Central Clinic) and the Community Clinic Coordinator.

Essential

  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite of systems including Word and Excel
  • Experience in dealing with patients/customers
  • Customer service skills
  • Attention to detail

You will provide a comprehensive, efficient and reliable administrative service working on reception and the single point of access telephone line, handling patient enquiries and bookings for clinics being offered within Unity Sexual Health. Additional roles include maintenance of up-to-date patient records, assembly of self-test kits and support of other departments within Unity Sexual Health. Training will be provided within the team for main reception, telephone call handling and community clinics.
