We have opportunities within our Radiology department across both Bristol & Weston in adults and paediatrics for motivated, enthusiastic individuals.

As a Radiographer at UHBW, you will experience a wide range of general and specialist modalities such as CT, Paediatrics and Interventional Radiography.

These roles will be based in either Bristol Royal Infirmary, Bristol Royal Hospital for Children and Weston General Hospital. Please specify on your application which site you would prefer.

Main duties of the job

  • To contribute to the delivery of the Radiology Service at an operational level as required across the different sites of UHBW.
  • To produce high quality, optimised images across the spectrum of examinations undertaken in the allocated department.
  • To participate in shift duties (including 7/7 working) within all departments and have a flexible attitude to working hours commensurate with the needs of the service.
  • To support radiographic assistants and assistant practitioners rostered to the allocated department.
  • To ensure the smooth operation of the Radiology Service.
  • To ensure a patient centred approach and be responsible for the standards of care provided within the allocated department.
  • To promote education and training within the allocated department and across radiology.
  • To adhere to the Trust Values
  • Keep up to date competency records.
