Job summary
As a Band- 4 Health Care Support Worker, the post holder will work closely with service users, their friends, family and carers, as a member of our committed multidisciplinary team, that includes Consultants, Registrars, Specialised Nurses and Health Care Support Workers. The post holder will be leading a team of Band 3 Health Care Support Workers in setting up and allocating clinic rooms for the smooth running of various clinics in the Outpatient Department. The post holder will maintain the highest level of safety for those utilising our services by understanding the boundaries of the Health Care Support Worker role and collaborating closely with Registered Nurses, utilising the most recent techniques and following evidence-based protocols and guidelines when carrying out care plans and helping to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes through collaboration, respect and empowerment.
The post holder will be assisting with regular audits and ensuring safety of the service users and will play a crucial role in making sure those who utilise our services have a great experience.

Main duties of the job
Help ensure the multidisciplinary team that individuals those who care for them receive high-quality, care and assistance by participating and leading the support worker team members in assessment, offering care and support, and dispensing information and guidance as needed.
Actively participate in and help enable the health care support team members to timely assess patients
Able to act effectively in medical emergencies
Should be able to proactively participating in creating order forms, stock rotation and agility requests
Able to demonstrate accountability and take responsibility for own actions and be able to act in line with Trust policies and procedures
Act as a role model to the team and be able to demonstrate politeness and a can do attitude on challenging circumstances
Willing to participate in training and enhance one's own and the team's development and wellbeing
