Job summary
We are seeking an energetic, flexible and self-motivated individual to join the Trust's Continuous Improvement Team.
Patient First is our long-term approach to transforming hospital services for the better, that is currently being deployed by UHBW. It is a continuous process of Lean-based improvement that leads to measurable improvements for our patients and staff, that will support them to effectively deliver our Trust strategy. This role provides to staff in UHBW support to develop new practices and expert advice on developing a continuous improvement approach to sustainably develop and transform our services in line with our strategic vision and priorities via the Trust's Patient First approach.

Main duties of the job
The postholder will:
- Work closely with the Associate Director of Improvement & Innovation, Transformation Programme Manager, senior clinical staff and management colleagues to plan, develop and deliver improvement programmes that will improve patient care and patient experiences through enhanced quality of services delivered at best value.
- Build capability across the organisation by ensuring required training, coaching and support for staff in the Patient First tools, methodologies, mindset and culture are available to develop staff in service improvement and transformation approaches.
- Ensure the Continuous Improvement team is able to effectively train, coach and support staff in the deployment of Patient First throughout the organisation.
- Support the Clinical Lead for Continuous Improvement to develop the Trust's innovation approach.
