Avon Partnership NHS Occupational Service (APOHS) is an innovative and dynamic Occupational Health Service based in Bristol, hosted byUniversity Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust and partnered with North Bristol NHS Trust. APOHS serves the OccupationalHealth needs of NHS and non-NHS staff of many organisations across the area.

Main duties of the job

We are delighted to offer an opportunity to work within a professional multi-disciplinary team within the Partnership. This post is for an Occupational Health nurse who can take the role of the Screening Nurse Leader, to be based at our central Whitefriars site. There will be an element of cross-site working at our other NHS sites at Weston GeneralHospital, North Bristol Trust, UHBristol, as well as at other non-NHS customer premises. The Screening Nurses will provide immunisations andvaccinations in addition to providing health surveillance and health screening services, in support of a range of our customers' staff so this role will support these services . as part of the OH Nurse role you will be expected o provide specialist professional Occupational Health advice and support on a day to day management basis on the department advice line structure.
