Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time (10 PA's) Consultant Radiologist at UHBW, to be based at Weston General Hospital! This post is for a General Radiologist to take part in the general workload of the department, however, a special interest in MSK, Neuro, ENT, Paediatrics or GI would be welcomed.
The successful candidate will join a small, committed and cohesive team of Consultants based in Weston-super-Mare. This is an exciting time to join UHBW, as we expand our services to support new clinical pathways and enhanced facilities.
Main duties of the job
Weston General Hospital merged with University Hospitals Bristol in April 2020 and has close links with the University of Bristol, University of the West of England, and Southmead Hospital. The Radiology department is a friendly and supportive environment, and the successful candidate will be able to develop close ties with clinicians and colleagues across the Trust. UHBW require staff with excellent communication skills, a flexible approach and attitude, commitment, and passion to deliver and improve the service.
Weston General Hospital's Radiology department is accredited by QSI, and all members of the department are encouraged to play an active role within this.
