Main duties of the job

The core elements of the role include:

  • Project management and support
  • Service improvement and redesign skills
  • Facilitation and communication expertise
  • Building staff capability for improvement through training, coaching, and mentoring.

  • Educated to degree level / healthcare professional qualification or equivalent relevant experience
  • Project management or improvement methodology training
  • Evidence of continuing professional development

Public Sector Language Competency

Essential

  • Be able to speak fluent English to an appropriate standard

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • Experience of participating in a project team delivering improvement
  • Experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams

Desirable

  • Health or social care setting experience
  • Experience of designing and planning improvement projects
  • Knowledge and experience of project management, quality improvement and/or change management concepts and methodologies
  • Experience in training staff

Aptitudes

Essential

  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Able to prioritise own workload effectively
  • Self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude
  • Flexible and adaptable to work across all Trust sites, and respond to changes to allocated work.
