Job summary
An exciting opportunity has been created for a dynamic and enthusiastic Specialty Doctor to join a team of six consultants, a specialty doctor, specialist trainees and clinical nurse specialists in the Supportive and Specialist Palliative Care at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
The post offers the opportunity to work within the hospital-advisory Supportive & Palliative Care team (SPCT) across Weston and Bristol hospital sites, full time, for a fixed term of one year. Candidates wishing to consider less than 10 PAs (1.0 WTE) are welcome to apply and will be eligible to be considered for the post. If such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust in consultation with colleagues.
The successful candidate must be registered with the GMC with a valid licence to practice. It is preferable that the postholder has completed Specialist Training (or equivalent qualification as a general practitioner) and be entered on the Specialist Register or GP Register of the GMC, or have a CCT date in Palliative Medicine within 6 months of the date of interview.
